Stacy & Genna work for the New Baltimore Recreation Department. Every Wednesday morning during the summer they bring 60 or so of New Baltimore’s youth to the library for what we here at the library like to call Rec & Read. Today these youth showed a little less respect that they could have during their visit.
The best way to teach respect is to show respect. When a child experiences respect, they know what it feels like and begin to understand how important it is. Being respectful helps a child succeed in life.
Respect is an attitude.
Thank you Stacy and Genna for taking the time to stress the importance of this character trait and for helping these children to succeed in the future.
